Research indicates that 3-6% of the population wrestle with some form of sexual addiction. It is likely that these numbers also reflect the situation in Canada. Made worse by the accessibility, affordability and anonymity of the internet, these figures continue to grow at an alarming rate.

At V&E Executive Counselling, we are a team of dedicated professionals committed to offering hope and healing to those who struggle with sexual addiction and to those who struggle to understand the sexually compulsive behaviour of a partner or family member. We are committed to providing our clients with a confidential, compassionate and non-judgemental therapeutic environment in which to explore the challenges they face.

Those who struggle with sexual addiction typically come from dysfunctional family backgrounds from which they have emerged with low self-esteem and difficulty maintaining healthy relationships. Deeply held feelings of unworthiness and profound shame around their behaviours make it difficult to reach out and ask for help. We have profound respect for the courage which our sexually addicted clients show in coming forward to address their issues. We also realize the confusion, pain, despair, anger and fear experienced by those who have been betrayed by their partner's behaviour, and we are here to offer support and understanding.
